C 12 Aircraft - The Raytheon C-12 was originally developed by Beechcraft as a short-range personnel and cargo aircraft for the United States. Powered by twin Pratt & Whitney turboprop engines, the low-wing, all-metal aircraft is a civilian version of the Super King Air 200. The pressurized cabin is capable of reaching altitudes of 35,000 feet and can be re- -configured to accommodate a mix of passengers and cargo. The first C-12 deployed in the U.S. Army in 1974, and the aircraft has undergone a series of upgrades since then.
